HBCU Experience Week is an extraordinary week of celebration, education, and empowerment. Three events. Two weekends. One mission. The 2026 HBCU Experience Week brings HBCU alumni, prospective students, and supporters from across the DFW metroplex to celebrate the rich legacy of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) while creating pathways for the next generation.

The HBCU Experience Week isn't just an event, it's a movement to strengthen our community, empower young scholars, and build a brighter future through the unparalleled opportunities that HBCUs provide.

THP has partnered with The Robinson House Foundation to bring the DFW HBCU 5K to Experience Week! The DFW HBCU 5K brings alumni, family, friends, and supporters together for a morning of community, fun, and fitness. Lace up and start the week strong.

The College Prep Workshop returns for an afternoon built for what's next. Students and families gain college readiness tips, financial planning guidance, and the tools to step confidently into the next chapter of their education.
